Some signals indicate that the Russian Federation poses a threat to security in Europe and NATO countries, reports a representative of the Defense Intelligence of the Ministry of Defense, Andrii Yusov.

"The military intelligence has information, and of course, those signals that are being publicized, including by experts in international media. They state the fact that the Russian Federation is indeed a threat to security in Europe and NATO," says Yusov.

According to the intelligence representative, the world is responding to these signals, and Ukrainian partners within the international coalition are strengthening appropriately.

Possible war between Russia and NATO

In recent weeks, more and more European leaders have been expressing concerns about the growing threat of a Russian attack on NATO countries.

After a two-day meeting of the military committee in Brussels, an admiral of the North Atlantic Alliance advised people to prepare for war and provided recommendations.

Bild reported that the Bundeswehr was preparing for a hybrid Russian attack on the eastern flank of the Alliance. It is noted that a military conflict could occur as early as February of this year.

In turn, the Chief of the Armed Forces of Norway, Eirik Kristoffersen, called on NATO members to increase their military potential to be ready for a war with Russia.

Today, the head of the Department of State Security of Lithuania, Darius Jauniškis, has stated that the goal of Russian dictator Vladimir Putin is not only to defeat Ukraine but also to engage in long-term confrontation with the West.
