The Ukrainian delegation met with national security advisors from the United States, the United Kingdom, Germany, and France. They discussed assistance to Ukraine and security commitments, according to the Presidential Office.

The Ukrainian side was represented by the head of the Presidential Office Andriy Yermak, Minister of Economy Yuliia Svyrydenko, Minister of Defense Rustem Umerov, Ambassador of Ukraine to the United States Oksana Markarova, deputy head of the OP Mykola Tochytskyi, and advisor to the head of the OP Dariia Zarivna.

The US delegation was headed by National Security Advisor Jake Sullivan, the UK delegation by National Security Advisor Timothy Barrow, the German delegation by Foreign Policy and Security Adviser to the Federal Chancellor Jens Plötner, and the French delegation by Diplomatic Advisor to the President Emmanuel Bonne.

The parties discussed strengthening Ukraine's air defense and energy security.

Yermak emphasized the importance of transferring the necessary weapons and equipment. Umerov spoke about the situation on the battlefield and the needs of the Ukrainian Armed Forces.

The meeting also focused on expanding opportunities for joint arms production and investments in Ukraine's defense industry.

The parties also discussed the implementation of the already signed security agreements. Special attention was paid to the implementation of the Ukrainian peace formula.

Visit of the Ukrainian delegation to the US

This week, a Ukrainian delegation visited the United States. Representatives of the Office of the President and the Ukrainian government arrived in Washington.

Ukraine's Defense Minister Rustem Umerov met with Pentagon Chief Lloyd Austin. Umerov spoke about the situation on the front line, the need for weapons, Russian attacks on the energy sector, and the development of the Ukrainian defense industry.

According to CNN, Yermak and Umerov wanted to convince Joe Biden's administration to allow Ukraine to strike Russia with long-range missiles during their visit to the United States.
