Ukrainian FPV drones have struck a Russian multiple-launch rocket system capable of hitting targets up to 40 kilometers away, according to the National Association of Ukrainian Defense Industries (NAUDI).

FPV drones from Ptashka Drones helped destroy a Russian BM-21 Grad multiple-launch rocket system, estimated at $400,000.

The BM-21 Grad is a 122 mm multiple-launch rocket system designed to strike personnel, lightly armored vehicles, artillery positions, and command posts. The system has 40 launch tubes and can fire its entire rocket load in about 20 seconds, hitting targets up to 40 km away.

Destroying such a system weakens Russia's firepower and reduces its ability to strike positions held by Ukrainian units.

As previously reported, the General Chereshnya Bullet interceptor drone had shot down a Russian Geran-4 jet-powered drone for the first time. Operators of the National Guard of Ukraine's Separate Artillery Brigade destroyed the target.

An interceptor drone also shot down a Russian ZALA KUB-2E drone for the first time.

In addition, Ukrainian troops used a RAM-2X loitering munition produced by Ukrspecsystems to strike a Russian radar system worth $100 million approximately 175 km from the line of contact.
