Ukrainian Forces use river in Kursk region as natural barrier against North Korean soldiers - Forbes
The Ukrainian military used the Psel River in the Kursk region as a natural barrier. It stops the advance of Russian and North Korean soldiers, Forbes reports.
Russian and North Korean soldiers attacked Ukrainian troops in the village of Plekhovo, south of the Psel River. Due to the enemy's numerical superiority, the Ukrainian military had to retreat.
However, the retreat was calculated. Ukrainian forces did not cling to Plekhovo at any cost but instead withdrew to the north of the Psel River. This river created a significant natural barrier between Russian-North Korean forces and the main Ukrainian unit in the region.
Now, the enemy must cross open terrain under the fire of drones and artillery to launch attacks.
