Ukraine's Defense Forces struck a logistics hub used by Russian occupiers near Selydove, located about 20 kilometers from Pokrovsk, according to the 7th Rapid Response Corps of the Air Assault Forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
Units operating within the area of responsibility of the 7th Rapid Response Corps, in coordination with the Khortytsia operational-strategic group, the Unmanned Systems Forces, and the Security Service of Ukraine’s Alpha special operations unit, carried out a coordinated strike on enemy rear infrastructure near Selydove.
The target was a logistics support area for Russian occupation forces located about 20 kilometers southeast of Pokrovsk.
As a result of the joint operation, the following targets were hit:
- a logistics supply warehouse located on the grounds of a former mine;
- an antenna system deployed by Russian forces on top of a spoil heap.

According to available information, the network of radio-technical equipment helped Russian occupiers launch and guide Molniya strike drones at Ukrainian military positions near Pokrovsk, while also providing internet access for Russian forces in the city.
Ukrainian troops used HIMARS and medium-range strike drones in the attack.
Battles for Pokrovsk
As a reminder, intense fighting has been ongoing for a long time in the Pokrovsk direction, where most Russian assault operations are currently concentrated.
Russian forces view Pokrovsk and Myrnohrad as potential footholds for further advances.
In particular, Pokrovsk is strategically important for Russia primarily because of its logistics role and location. It is a major transportation hub through which roads and supply routes pass in this sector.
Myrnohrad is effectively part of the same urban agglomeration as Pokrovsk. Control over — or strong influence on — both cities at the same time would give Russia greater room for maneuver and help create a staging area for future offensive operations.
At the same time, Ukraine's Defense Forces continue to hold the line despite pressure from the enemy, which continues to disregard its own losses.
