Russian troops have deployed the 90th Tank Division to Pokrovsk, using the city to amass forces and equipment. In Hryshyne, the Russians are attempting to break through and outflank Ukrainian Armed Forces positions, according to the 7th Rapid Response Corps of the Air Assault Forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.

Since early May, units in the area of responsibility of the 7th Airborne Corps have killed or wounded 329 Russians. Ukrainian forces have also destroyed or damaged over 40 units of various equipment, including artillery pieces.

Some of the artillery pieces were struck by the Defense Forces in Pokrovsk. Russia is currently using the city to amass personnel and equipment, planning further offensive operations. The presence of the Russian 90th Tank Division has been recorded in Pokrovsk.

In Myrnohrad, Russians are deploying command posts. The enemy is attempting to use the town as a bridgehead for a breakthrough toward Rodynske. In this sector, since early May, the 38th Marine Brigade has destroyed 11 pieces of artillery equipment.

At the same time, the capture of Hryshyne remains Russia's primary objective. Several units from various Russian brigades are operating in this sector.

For a long time, Russian infantry attempted to advance directly through the village, while others sought to bypass Hryshyne across open terrain and move north toward Vasylivka.

Ukrainian Defense Forces struck Russian troops with all available means, including artillery, aviation, and FPV drones, as well as small arms.

Recently, in the southern part of Hryshyne, Ukrainian defenders eliminated two Russian assault troops in close-quarters combat.

Situation in Pokrovsk

Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces of Ukraine Oleksandr Syrskyi reported that the situation on the front remained extremely tense. Russian troops have intensified their offensive on nearly all fronts and are conducting a large-scale redeployment of their forces.

Currently, the Pokrovsk sector is the most critical area, where Russians have concentrated a force of approximately 106,000 personnel.

Russians are attempting to put pressure on Ukrainian defenses by exploiting their numerical superiority in manpower.

Brigadier General Yevhen Lasiichuk, commander of the 7th Rapid Reaction Corps of the Airborne Forces, held a series of coordination meetings to strengthen the defense of the Pokrovsk urban area and synchronize the actions of units in the most challenging sectors.

Russian troops are attempting to dislodge the Ukrainian Defense Forces from the northern outskirts of Pokrovsk. Russia’s ultimate goal at this stage is to create conditions for further advancement toward the town of Shevchenko.

In addition, partisans from the ATESH movement carried out a successful sabotage operation in the Sverdlovsk region of Russia, destroying telecommunications equipment at a key communications tower.

This caused significant logistical problems and left part of the Russian forces in the Pokrovsk direction without stable supplies and coordination.
