Ukrainian forces struck Russian ammunition depots, fuel storage facilities, and other infrastructure overnight, both in the occupied territories and deep inside Russia, according to the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.

Three Russian ammunition depots destroyed

Russian ammunition depots in Maryanivka and Lisne of the temporarily occupied Donetsk region, Aidar of the temporarily occupied Luhansk region.

In the same area, near Aidar, a Russian fuel and lubricants depot was destroyed.

Strikes on Russian command posts and equipment

Near Novopavlivka in the Zaporizhzhia region, a command post of Russian forces was destroyed.

An area where Russian weapons and equipment were concentrated near Klimovo in the Bryansk region, which is already Russian territory, was also struck.

Russian logistics in crosshairs

Supply depots were destroyed in two locations: Persianovsky in the Rostov region of Russia, and Novomykolaivka in the temporarily occupied Kherson region.

Russian casualties and the extent of the damage are currently being assessed.

Strike on oil refinery confirmed

On April 17, 2026, the Ukrainian Defense Forces struck the Syzran oil refinery in the Samara region of Russia.

Damage was confirmed to the RVS-10000 tank, two sections, a process pipeline, and the ELOU AVT-6 primary oil refining unit.

On the night of April 21, drones from the SBU’s Alpha Special Operations Center struck the Samara line-production-dispatch station in the Samara region of Russia, and a massive fire broke out there.

Five tanks, each with a capacity of 20,000 cubic meters, containing crude oil, were damaged.

The fire at the oil refinery in Tuapse, Russia, following the drone attack, has been burning for five days now.
