Ukrainian forces strike one of Russia's largest oil refineries in Yaroslavl

On the night of August 28, Ukrainian Defense Forces struck the Yaroslavl oil refinery using FP-1 drones, according to Fire Point.
The Yaroslavl oil refinery (Slavneft-YANOS) is one of Russia's largest oil refineries, with a capacity of about 15 million metric tons of crude oil per year.
The facility produces gasoline, diesel, jet fuel, and other petroleum products.
According to online reports, a massive fire broke out at the refinery following the drone strikes.

Attacks on Russian oil refineries
The Lukoil-Nizhegorodnefteorgsintez (NORSI) oil refinery in Kstovo suspended crude oil processing on August 26 following a strike by a Ukrainian drone.
On August 25, Ukrainian drones attacked the Afipsky oil refinery in the Krasnodar Krai. As a result of the attack, a unit for the joint processing of gas and gas condensate caught fire.
Drones also attacked the Samara region of Russia on the night of August 22, resulting in a confirmed strike on the Novokuybyshevsk oil refinery, where a fire broke out.
In addition, on August 21, drones attacked an oil refinery in Perm, Russia. A massive fire broke out at the facility.
