Ukrainian Forces stop Russian massive assault near Pokrovsk in Donetsk region: Footage

Units of the 46th Separate Airmobile Podillia Brigade of the Air Assault Forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine repelled a Russian assault in the Pokrovsk direction. The Russian forces lost nearly 60 soldiers, as well as several tanks and armored vehicles, according to the Air Assault Forces Command of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
It is reported that within the area of responsibility of the 46th Separate Airmobile Brigade, Russian troops attempted a massive assault using armored vehicles. The enemy deployed tanks and armored personnel carriers along with personnel.
"The Podillia paratroopers gave the unwelcome guests a 'warm welcome.' Thanks to the coordinated efforts of our engineers, artillery units, and drone teams, the enemy assault was successfully repelled," the statement said.
During the assault attempt, the Russian forces suffered significant losses. The following were destroyed:

6 soldiers were wounded.
"Our work continues. The 46th Separate Airmobile Brigade will continue to destroy the enemy attempting to advance and will do everything necessary to ensure that their assaults end only in failure and losses," the statement added.
Recently, in the city of Rodynske, Ukrainian forces eliminated another Russian stronghold. The operation was carried out by fighters of the special Omega-Zakhid unit with the support of National Guard units.
Recently, the Commander of the National Guard of Ukraine, Oleksandr Pivnenko, spoke about the situation in Pokrovsk. He emphasized that Ukrainian forces are concentrating units for counter-assault operations. However, weather conditions are significantly complicating combat operations. Nevertheless, Ukrainian units maintain control over the northern part of Pokrovsk and are holding back the enemy on the approaches to Myrnohrad.
