Ukrainian forces hit Russian command post in Donetsk region – General Staff

Ukrainian Defense Forces struck the command post of Russia's 85th Separate Motorized Rifle Brigade in the temporarily occupied territory of Donetsk region, the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine reports.
"Ukraine's Defense Forces continue to destroy command posts of Russian troops. The latest target was the command post of the 85th Separate Motorized Rifle Brigade of the Russian Armed Forces in the temporarily controlled territory of Donetsk region," the statement reads.
According to preliminary data, as a result of a strike with a high-precision weapon, the brigade commander with the call sign Dnepr and five members of the operational staff were eliminated.

Ukrainian strikes on Russian forces
In July, the Defense Forces successfully struck the command post of the 8th Combined Arms Army of the Russian Armed Forces in the temporarily controlled territory of Donetsk region.
Also recently, Ukraine's Defense Forces destroyed a Russian S-300 surface-to-air missile system in the temporarily controlled territory of Zaporizhzhia region.
And on August 3, the Unmanned Systems Forces struck the fuel complex at Sochi Airport. As a result of the attack, a large-scale fire broke out at the facility.
