Ukrainian Forces destroy drone base in Russia's Kursk region: Up to 20 operators eliminated

The Air Force on Saturday, April 19, carried out a successful strike on an enemy base in Russia’s Kursk region. Attack drones were being launched from that location, according to the General Staff.
"On April 19, 2025, the Air Force of the Armed Forces of Ukraine carried out a successful strike on an enemy UAV launch site near the settlement of Tyotkino, Kursk region," the General Staff reported.
According to the agency, the enemy used the facility to prepare, equip, and launch reconnaissance, strike, and FPV drones.
"As a result of the strike, up to 20 UAV operators were eliminated. This strike of ours is a tangible response to the enemy's actions against the Ukrainian army," the General Staff stated.
Strike on Shahed drone production facilities
In April 2024, drones of the Ukrainian Defense Forces attacked facilities in the Republic of Tatarstan, Russia. Later, explosions were reported in the Alabuga special economic zone, where industrial enterprises producing Shahed drones are located.
Subsequently, a representative of the Defense Intelligence of Ukraine, Andrii Yusov, stated that no foreign weapons were used in the attack on the Russian facilities. According to him, one of the affected sites in Tatarstan was involved in the assembly of Shaheds and Gerans.
Additionally, in September of last year, Russian sources reported that Ukrainian forces had attacked ammunition depots in Russia’s Krasnodar region and Tver region.

In October of last year, the Ukrainian Navy, together with the Security Service of Ukraine (SSU), carried out a strike on a Shahed drone storage base located near the settlement of Oktyabrsky in Russia’s Krasnodar region.
