According to local residents, explosions were also reported around 6 AM within the territory of the special economic zone Alabuga, situated outside the city.

The distance from the Ukrainian border to Yelabuga by road is 1,593 km, and by straight line - 1,237 km.

Earlier, Vadym Skibitskyi, a representative of the Ukrainian Ministry of Defense's Intelligence Directorate, said that the Russians have deployed at least two lines of production for kamikaze Shahed drones in Yelabuga.
