The Naval Forces, together with the Security Service of Ukraine, attacked a storage base for Shahed-type drones located near the settlement of Oktyabrsky in the Krasnodar Krai of Russia, according to the General Staff.

According to the General Staff, about 400 strike drones were stored at the base. The General Staff specified that surveillance confirmed a direct hit on the target, with secondary detonation observed on the site.

"The destruction of the Shahed UAV storage base will significantly reduce the ability of Russian occupiers to terrorize the peaceful residents of Ukrainian cities and villages. Combat operations against the invaders' military targets continue," the statement said.

In September, Russian forces reported that warehouses with weapons were attacked in Krasnodar Krai and Tver region.

Strike on Shahed drone production facilities

At the beginning of April, defense drones attacked facilities in the Republic of Tatarstan, Russia, for the first time. Explosions were heard in the special economic zone of Alabuga, where industrial production enterprises are located, over a thousand kilometers from the border with Ukraine.

Subsequently, a representative of Defense Intelligence Andrii Yusov stated that foreign weapons were not used during the attack on Russian targets. He also confirmed that one of the affected sites in Tatarstan was involved in the assembly of Shahed and Geran drones. Moreover, one of the buildings located near the enterprise was hit by Russian air defense systems.
