Ukrainian military continues to advance south of Bakhmut, consolidates positions at achieved frontlines, and destroys enemy radio reconnaissance complexes, according to the spokesperson for the Eastern Operational Command of the Ukrainian Armed Forces, Illia Yevlash.

"On the southern front, we continue our offensive operation, particularly making progress near Zaitseve, Klishchiivka, Odarivka, and Ivanivske," the statement reads.

According to him, the military continues to eliminate the enemy, holding defense under intense fire and consolidating their positions at achieved frontlines. In total, the enemy opened fire on our defenders on this front 580 times, using aviation four times, and there were 12 clashes.

Losses of occupiers on the Bakhmut front

Yevlash reports that the military managed to eliminate 141 occupiers, and counter-battery units performed exceptionally well.

"We managed to destroy 10 D-30 howitzers, as well as 3 D-20 howitzers, 2 Pions 203 mm, and 4 Msta-B," added the spokesperson for the Eastern Operational Command of the Ukrainian Armed Forces.

According to him, a division of artillery weapons was destroyed on this front, and the military also managed to destroy many different special radio-electronic reconnaissance devices.

He mentions the Kredo-M1 reconnaissance complex, which is a special system capable of detecting the movement of vehicles and people at any time of the year. The Ukrainian forces also destroyed the Murom-P observation complex and the Ironia electronic complex, which the Russians use for fire adjustment and tracking the movement of our troops on this front.

Ukraine's counteroffensive

Since the summer, our soldiers have continued their offensive actions in eastern and southern Ukraine. Currently, active battles are taking place south of Bakhmut and on the Melitopol front.

The most recent liberated towns were Andriivka and Klishchiivka in the Donetsk region. Previously, the Ukrainian Armed Forces had already established fire control over the Bakhmut-Horlivka road. This will provide more opportunities for eliminating the occupiers.

The spokesperson for the Eastern Operational Command, Yevlash, also reported on the successes of the Ukrainian Armed Forces in the area of Klishchiivka on the Bakhmut front.
