Ukrainian fighters rout Russian forces near Kupiansk in Kharkiv region: Footage

Ukrainian troops have regained control of another four square kilometers of territory in the Kupiansk sector of the Kharkiv region, according to the Telegram channel of the R.U.G. 23rd Assault Regiment.
Liberation of territory
Fighters from the 23rd Assault Regiment of the Strike Groups Company (R.U.G.), part of the National Guard of Ukraine's 2nd Khartiia Corps, cleared additional areas of terrain.
The operation took place in the Kharkiv region between the settlements of Dvorichna and Zapadne.
At one location, National Guard troops operated alongside servicemen from the 35th Separate Marine Brigade.
In total, the operation resulted in the liberation of 4 square kilometers of Ukrainian territory.
Defenders stress that efforts to push back Russian forces and advance further are ongoing.
Frontline situation
Ukraine's Defense Forces continue to make gains in several sectors of the front line. In particular, analysts at the Institute for the Study of War (ISW) have reported Ukrainian advances on multiple fronts in the Sumy and Kharkiv regions.
Meanwhile, the Ukrainian military has dismissed Russian propaganda claims that the villages of Velykyi Prykil and Sadky in the Sumy region had been captured. Both settlements remain fully under Ukrainian control.
Since the beginning of the year, Ukraine's Defense Forces have carried out a series of successful operations.
During a two-phase counteroffensive led by commander Mykhailo Drapatyi, Ukrainian troops managed to regain control of about 745 square kilometers of territory.
