Ukrainian farm workers injured as Russia attacks combine harvester in Zaporizhzhia region

A Russian drone attacked agricultural machinery during harvesting in Zaporizhzhia district. One person was killed, and another was injured in the strike, Ukraine's State Emergency Service (DSNS) reports.
Russian strike aftermath
Preliminary information from rescuers says a 32-year-old man was killed in the attack.
Another man was injured and is currently receiving all necessary medical care.
The drone strike sparked a fire directly in the field.
The attack destroyed a combine harvester, a passenger car, and wheat.

DSNS crews who arrived at the scene quickly extinguished the fire.
Previous attacks on Zaporizhzhia region
Russian forces regularly carry out airstrikes and artillery attacks on Ukraine's Zaporizhzhia and settlements across the region.
As previously reported, on August 10, Russians dropped a guided aerial bomb on Zaporizhzhia city. The attack injured 24 people, including a 10-year-old girl who was seriously wounded.
Emergency workers are often targeted by Russia as well. At the end of July, the Russian army attacked rescuers while they were fighting a fire in the Zaporizhzhia region, carrying out a second airstrike on the firefighters.
