Ukrainian engineers build drone interceptor reaching 11 km altitude

Ukrainian developers from the Dyki Shershni group (Wild Hornets) have created an interceptor drone capable of reaching an altitude of up to 11 kilometers, Militarnyi reports.
According to the published footage, the strike drone was tested in the skies over the Kherson region.
Such high-altitude capabilities are expected to expand Ukraine's ability to counter large Russian drones, which often operate at high altitudes for reconnaissance or strike missions.
The exact specifications and appearance of the high-altitude interceptor drone remain classified. According to the developers, the drone has not yet undergone codification by Ukraine's Ministry of Defense.
New drones for Ukrainian Armed Forces
Ukrainian troops have recently received several new drones. The Ministry of Defense has approved for use in the Armed Forces of Ukraine a domestically produced fiber-optic FPV drone system, Svitlovod.
Additionally, the Ukrainian military has begun widespread deployment of the new loitering munition MV-25 OSKAR, developed by the French company KNDS France in collaboration with DELAIR and EOS Technologie.
The Ministry of Defense also announced that Ukrainian forces will begin operating a new unmanned aerial system Volyniaka. So far, it is known that this new hexacopter is designed to target heavily armored vehicles.
