In the night of June 12, Ukraine's Defense Forces struck two oil refineries in Tatarstan, a chemical plant in Tolyatti, as well as enemy command posts and logistical facilities, according to the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.

According to the report, Defense Forces units in the Republic of Tatarstan hit the TANECO and TAIF-NK oil refineries in Nizhnekamsk.

Hits on targets and fires at both facilities have been confirmed.

The TANECO oil refining complex is one of the largest oil processing facilities in the Russian Federation. Its designed processing capacity exceeds 16 million tons of oil per year.

The plant produces a wide range of fuels and lubricants, including diesel fuel, aviation fuel, and other petroleum products.

The TAIF-NK plant is a large oil refining complex characterized by extremely high oil processing depth (after the launch of the deep processing complex for heavy residues, this indicator is declared at over 95%). The plant processes heavy high-sulfur crude oil and gas condensate.

Its output is distributed across several key segments, ranging from mass-market fuels to specialized feedstock for petrochemicals and military use.

The Tolyattikauchuk plant in Russia’s Samara region was also hit. It specializes in the production of synthetic rubber (used, in particular, in the further production of solid rocket fuel for tactical and ballistic missiles), monomers, fractions, and high-octane gasoline additives.

A hit and fire at the plant have been confirmed.

In addition, command and observation posts of Russian forces were struck in the areas of Obesta and Iskra in Russia's Kursk region and near Maryne in the Kherson region.

Strikes were also carried out on enemy command posts in the areas of Voskresenka and Pokrovsk, as well as an enemy communications hub near Vesele in the Donetsk region.

Among other targets, Ukrainian forces struck a concentration area of enemy personnel at the Vostochny training ground near Novopetrivka in the Zaporizhzhia region.

A field artillery depot near Ryb'yantseve in the Luhansk region and an enemy logistics depot in Mariupol in Donetsk region were also hit.

In addition, updated data on the June 10, 2026 strike on the Kuibyshev oil refinery in Russia's Samara region confirmed hits on primary oil processing units AVT-4 and AVT-5, as well as the RVS-2000 storage tank. The plant has suspended operations.

Night "bavovna" (explosions) in Tolyatti

Earlier today, reports on social media said that a chemical plant in the Russian city of Tolyatti, Tolyattikauchuk, caught fire following a drone attack. A drone threat regime was declared in the Samara region and airspace was temporarily closed.

Tolyatti has been targeted by Ukrainian drones more than once. On the night of April 4, two chemical plants in the city were already on fire following a drone attack, with locals also reporting engine sounds and explosions in different parts of the city.
