Ukrainian drones strike major explosives factory in Russia, sources say

Drones of the Security Service of Ukraine attacked the Russian plant Promsintez. This is one of Russia's leading explosives production facilities.
According to RBC-Ukraine's sources, at night, SSU attack drones attacked the Promsintez plant in Chapayevsk, Samara region. This plant is one of the leading manufacturers of industrial explosives (ammonal, ammonite, granulite) in Russia and the CIS.
At least 20 explosions and several fires were recorded at the plant. The plant's management was forced to halt production processes.
“The SSU continues to conduct targeted raids on Russian enterprises that are part of the military-industrial complex and produce weapons for the war against Ukraine. Such facilities are absolutely legitimate military targets,” an SSU source emphasized.
