Ukrainian drones strike Belgorod oil depot: Sources
Ukrainian drones attacked the Gubkinskaya oil depot in the Belgorod region on the night of August 3. A fire broke out at the site, according to the sources in the security services.
According to sources, the SBU drones targeted the Gubkinskaya oil depot in the Belgorod region. Russians on social media reported a series of explosions and a fire at the depot, as well as the activation of Russian air defense systems.
Sources also stated that on the night of August 3, SSU drones attacked the Morozovsk airfield in the Rostov region. The site housed enemy air defense systems, aviation equipment, and ammunition depots. The operation was conducted jointly with the HUR and Defense Forces.
Ukrainian drones struck an aviation munitions depot.
"The explosion was so powerful that local residents ran out of swear words to describe the scale of the blasts and the resulting 'cotton'. Local Russian authorities are trying to downplay the attack on the military facility, claiming only some warehouse buildings are burning," the security services noted.
Powerful attack by the Defense Forces
On the night of August 3, the Defense Forces attacked the Morozovsk airfield in the Rostov region, confirmed by the Ukrainian General Staff. There was a hit on munitions depots, including those storing guided aviation bombs.
Additionally, according to RBC-Ukraine sources, an oil depot in the Rostov region was also attacked. This refers to the oil depot at the Atlas Rosrezerv facility, which supplied fuel to Russian troops in eastern Ukraine.
