The Ukrainian Armed Forces’ Unmanned Systems Forces (SBS) struck several enemy targets in temporarily occupied territories. In particular, a fuel base was hit, according to the Ukrainian Armed Forces’ SBS on Telegram.

As noted by the Ukrainian Armed Forces’ Unmanned Systems Forces, the fuel and lubricants storage base of the Russian forces targeted by drones is located in the Luhansk region. The strike triggered a large-scale fire. Detailed consequences of the attack are being clarified.

At the same time, a drone strike hit a radar station in temporarily occupied Crimea. The station was used to monitor airspace.

These operations were carried out by soldiers of the 1st Separate Unmanned Systems Forces Center.

"The Unmanned Systems Forces are consistently reducing the enemy’s ability to continue aggression against Ukraine,” the Forces stated.

Ukrainian drone attacks on targets in Russia

On the night of January 1, Ukraine’s Defense Forces struck a number of key Russian military targets, including the Ilskiy oil refinery in Russia’s Krasnodar Krai.

According to the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, the facility was hit by strike drones, which caused a fire.

Ukrainian defenders also targeted the Almetyevskaya oil processing unit in the Republic of Tatarstan.

In addition, the Defense Forces struck targets in temporarily occupied areas of the Donetsk region. In particular, a storage facility for Shahed drones was hit near Donetsk.

Meanwhile, Bloomberg reported that in December 2025, Ukrainian defenders carried out a record number of strikes on Russia’s energy facilities.
