Ukrainian DELTA combat system leads NATO unmanned operations, defense minister says

The Ukrainian DELTA combat system became the central command platform for the joint team of participating countries at NATO's REPMUS 2025 exercises, coordinating over 100 maritime, underwater, ground, and aerial drones, according to Ukraine's Defense Minister Denys Shmyhal.
The Ukrainian DELTA combat system became the main command system for the joint team of participating countries at NATO's REPMUS 2025 exercises.
With its help, over 100 unmanned platforms — maritime, underwater, ground, and aerial — were coordinated.
This year, Ukraine participated for the second consecutive time in NATO's REPMUS 2025 exercises, the largest international event focused on practicing the use of unmanned systems in maritime operations.
During the exercises, Ukrainian servicemembers shared their combat experience with partners.
DELTA confirmed its compatibility with the latest Alliance standards and demonstrated that Ukrainian technologies not only meet NATO standards but also help shape new approaches to warfare.
"This is proof of our ability to quickly adapt to any combat operations at sea, on land, or in the air," Shmyhal emphasized.
Previous NATO exercises
Last month, NATO conducted large-scale exercises to deploy troops and equipment to Lithuania, aiming to strengthen the Alliance's eastern flank.
At the beginning of June, NATO countries held the annual BALTOPS exercises in the Baltic Sea. In response, Russia also deployed its fleet simultaneously.
