The Ukrainian delegation has arrived in Miami for bilateral talks with the American side, according to a report by Ukrinform.

Composition of the Ukrainian delegation

The Ukrainian negotiating team is already in Miami, where meetings with the US side are scheduled.

The delegation includes key government officials, including Secretary of the National Security and Defense Council Rustem Umerov.

Also taking part in the talks are Head of the President's Office Kyrylo Budanov, First Deputy Head of the Presidential Office Sergiy Kyslytsya, and Head of the Servant of the People parliamentary faction Davyd Arakhamia.

Who is representing the US?

On the US side, White House special envoy Steve Witkoff and Jared Kushner, the son‑in‑law of President Donald Trump, will participate in the dialogue.

Purpose of the talks

The two sides will hold bilateral consultations to discuss pressing issues of cooperation.

The meeting takes place amid an active political dialogue between Kyiv and Washington.

Earlier, Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy announced that a new meeting between Ukrainian and American officials without Russian participation would take place on Saturday, March 21.

According to him, this will be a bilateral meeting in the US, where the Ukrainian side intends to discuss possible dates for the next trilateral meeting involving Russia — a meeting that had been postponed several times before.

Kremlin spokesman Dmitry Peskov confirmed that on Saturday, March 21, the talks in the US will be strictly between Kyiv and Washington, with Moscow not taking part.

Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy said that the continuation of talks between Ukraine, Russia, and the US was originally scheduled to take place in Abu Dhabi on March 5–6.

Earlier, the US and Ukrainian negotiating teams considered the possibility of concluding a peace agreement with Russia as early as March 2026. However, events in Iran changed everything.
