Ukrainian defense-tech firm BlueBird Tech enters Europe through partnership with Galion Group

Under the agreement, the parties will work together to identify partners in France and across the EU, attract investment for defense projects, and participate in programs funded by the European Defence Fund (EDF).
The partnership combines BlueBird Tech's engineering expertise in defense technology development with Galion Group's extensive network within the European defense ecosystem.
In a comment to RBC-Ukraine, BlueBird Tech said that one of the key objectives of the memorandum is to expand international cooperation and integrate Ukrainian defense technologies into Europe's security ecosystem.
The company said it would focus on finding strategic partners to localize production of its flagship products in Europe, developing joint technology projects, and attracting European investment and funding programs to accelerate the creation of new defense solutions.
Earlier, BlueBird Tech unveiled its new ultra-lightweight Yagi-Uda Lite 750 and Yagi-Uda Lite 915 directional antennas designed for strike drones.
Separately, Ukraine's military intelligence agency (HUR) recently said that the country is developing a new system for naval drones that will enable them not only to destroy Russian targets but also to intercept sanctioned vessels in the Black Sea and escort them to port for confiscation.
