Soldiers of the 44th separate artillery brigade named after Hetman Danylo Apostol of the Armed Forces of Ukraine destroyed a Russian Msta-B howitzer in the Zaporizhzhia sector.

“Another Russian cannon will never fire again. We thank our soldiers for their skillful work,” the statement says.

Russia's losses

Over the past day, the Russian army lost 1,340 troops, 45 artillery systems, 86 drones and 101 vehicles. Since the beginning of the full-scale invasion of Ukraine, Russian losses have totaled about 879,410 troops, 10,255 tanks, 24,064 artillery systems, and 27,741 drones.

In addition, 101 combat engagements took place at the front over the day, most of them in the Pokrovsk sector. Russia carried out 56 air strikes, dropping 104 guided bombs, used 2,638 kamikaze drones and fired over 5,100 artillery rounds, including 186 from multiple rocket launchers.
