Ukrainian army chief Syrskyi strengthens brigades on most critical front areas

Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, Oleksandr Syrskyi, has ordered that brigades fighting on the most challenging frontline directions be supplied with additional reserves and weapons, according to Syrskyi.
"My primary focus is on the most difficult directions of the front. I worked directly with military units and subunits holding back the enemy, including on the border with the Dnipropetrovsk region," Syrskyi said.
Based on reports from commanders on the ground, the Commander-in-Chief reviewed the latest changes in the operational situation. Together, they examined problematic issues and outlined ways to resolve them.
According to Syrskyi, the main efforts are focused on building a stable, reliable defense, improving troop coordination, assisting commanders in organizing combat, and restoring the combat capability of military units.
"I have given the necessary orders to ensure the brigades are provided with everything they need, including reserves, additional ammunition, drones, and special equipment," the Armed Forces Commander added.
Situation on the front
Earlier, Syrskyi reported that Ukrainian assault units had advanced up to 1.6 km in certain directions of the Donetsk region.
Overall, during the Dobropillia operation, as of the morning of October 13, 182.4 sq. km have been liberated, and 224.7 sq. km cleared of enemy sabotage and reconnaissance groups.
Syrsky also noted that modern battlefields are defined by strike drones, with impact zones reaching up to 10 kilometers. Under such conditions, rapid evacuation of the wounded, logistics development, and military medicine become especially important.
