Ukrainian army eliminates another 640 occupiers and 7 tanks: enemy losses update
Russian losses in the war against Ukraine have exceeded 239,000 military personnel. Over the past day, Ukrainian defenders eliminated an additional 710 Russian invaders, along with destroying 38 enemy artillery systems, according to the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
The total combat losses of the enemy from 24.02.22 to 22.07.23 were approximately:
personnel ‒ about 241,330 (+640) persons were liquidated,
tanks ‒ 4140 (+7),
APV ‒ 8096 (+16),
artillery systems – 4629 (+19),
MLRS – 693 (+1),
anti-aircraft warfare systems ‒ 448 (+8),
aircraft – 315,
helicopters – 310,
UAV operational-tactical level – 3944 (+11),
cruise missiles ‒ 1298,
warships/boats ‒ 18,
vehicles and fuel tanks – 7159 (+14),
special equipment ‒ 691 (+5).
Situation on the frontline
According to the General Staff, the enemy is currently concentrating its efforts on the following directions:
- Kupiansk;
- Lyman;
- Bakhmut;
- Avdiivka;
- Mariupol.
The Institute for the Study of War reports that the Ukrainian Armed Forces are launching counterattacks near Bakhmut and in the Zaporizhzhia region. Meanwhile, Russian occupiers are attempting to advance in the area of Kupiansk and are also reinforcing their troops near Avdiivka.
