The village of Minkivka in Donetsk region remains under the control of Ukraine's Defense Forces. Reports claiming the settlement was captured by Russian forces are false, according to the Facebook page of the Eastern Group of Forces.

"The settlement of Minkivka in the Sloviansk direction is under the control of Ukraine's Defense Forces. Our units continue to carry out combat missions along designated positions," the military stated.

The group emphasized that statements by the aggressor state's propagandists about the alleged capture of Minkivka are false and are part of information and psychological operations aimed at creating an illusion of success that does not exist.
