Information about the seizure of the settlements of Serebrianka and Dronivka in the Donetsk region by Russian troops is not true.

This was reported by RBC-Ukraine, according to the 81st Separate Slobozhanska Airmobile Brigade of the 7th Rapid Response Corps of the Air Assault Forces.

"Information being circulated by certain information outlets about the alleged capture by the enemy of the settlements of Serebrianka and Dronivka does not correspond to reality," the brigade emphasized.

The military said that as of now, Ukraine’s Defense Forces are holding positions within these settlements and along adjacent lines.

At the same time, following massive fire attacks involving artillery systems of various calibers and drones, the enemy is using the terrain, forest belts, and dense tree lines to infiltrate the space between positions.

It is noted that the enemy disguises itself as local civilians. Its actions take the form of localized assault operations, sabotage, and reconnaissance activities.

For logistical support and to cover movement routes, the enemy is using the barrier line of the Siverskyi Donets River.

"Firepower and counteractions of Ukrainian units are thwarting all identified attempts by the enemy to advance or gain a foothold. The situation remains tense, and command is routinely exercising control over the troops," the brigade said.

Russian lies about frontline 'success'

Recently, Russian President Vladimir Putin once again fantasized about the supposed new "success" of his army on the front in Ukraine. He publicly claimed the "capture" of Siversk in the Donetsk region.

At the same time, Ukrainian forces reported that although the situation in Siversk is tense, rumors about Russian forces controlling the city are false. Ukrainian troops are fighting for Siversk, and many Russians attempting to infiltrate the city have been eliminated.

Earlier, Ukraine’s Third Army Corps dispelled a Russian fake about the enemy’s alleged breakthrough into Lyman in the Donetsk region.

Russian propaganda also continues to spread false claims about "full control" over Kupiansk in the Kharkiv region. However, the Armed Forces of Ukraine carried out a successful operation there and blocked the Russian troops.
