Ukrainian Armed Forces eliminated an enemy artillery unit on the Bakhmut direction, according to a statement by the Commander of the Army of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, Oleksandr Syrskii, on his Telegram.

Commander of the Army of the Armed Forces of Ukraine reported that in Klishchiivka, Ukrainian aerial reconnaissance detected an enemy artillery unit and passed their coordinates to fellow soldiers.

"Klishchiivka, Bakhmut direction. Aerial reconnaissance from the 80th Separate Airborne Brigade detected an enemy artillery unit, and the 45th Artillery Brigade destroyed the adversary using the M777," stated Syrskii.

Situation on the Bakhmut direction

Deputy Minister of Defence of Ukraine, Hanna Maliar, reported that Ukrainian soldiers continued their offensive operations on the Bakhmut direction, particularly on the southern flank.

"Because on the northern front, intense battles are ongoing, and the enemy is attempting to storm and reclaim lost positions there. As a result, our offensive actions faced considerable challenges due to the enemy's activities. The situation there is complex but under control," she stated.

Russian occupiers have concentrated additional resources on the southern and northern flanks of Bahmut, making it challenging for Ukrainian defense forces to counter their advances. Nevertheless, the Ukrainian Armed Forces continue to make progress.
