The operational situation in the zone of responsibility of the Southern Defense Forces of Ukraine remains stable but tense. Ukrainian military forces have eliminated 40 Russian occupiers in the last day, states the Southern Defense Forces of Ukraine.

According to the military, there are no signs of the enemy forming offensive groups. There is an ongoing movement of forces and assets between their positions, while counter-battery combat continues.

In the past day, the enemy has suffered the following losses:

  • 40 occupiers,
  • 2 howitzers,

  • 9 units of armored vehicles,

  • 3 boats.

Shelling from the Russian Federation

In the past 24 hours, the enemy has conducted 55 artillery shelling attacks using over 290 projectiles, including 6 attacks on populated areas, including Kherson, Shyroka Balka, and Antonivka.

As a result of the shelling, 1 civilian was injured, and damage occurred to a five-story building and 5 private houses.

Additionally, in the village of Vysokopyllya in Berislavskyi District, one civilian was injured due to the dismantling and detonation of an unspecified explosive device on the territory of their own property.

Ukrainian Armed Forces counteroffensive

Ukrainian military forces have been conducting a counteroffensive since the beginning of the summer. They have successfully liberated a number of populated areas in both the Zaporizhzhia and Donetsk regions.

On some fronts in the east and south, Ukrainian fighters have managed to break through the enemy's first line of defense.

It was recently reported that our military forces have advanced near the village of Robotyne in the Zaporizhzhia region.
