Ukrainian Armed Forces destroy 409 Russian invaders and over 170 drones on Tavria front
Ukrainian Armed Forces destroyed 34 units of enemy equipment and more than 170 drones in the Tavria sector (Vitaliy Nosach, RBC-Ukraine)
Over the last day, January 7, in the Tavria direction, Ukrainian troops destroyed 34 units of Russian enemy equipment. They also neutralized and destroyed 178 UAVs of various types, according to the Joint Press Center of the Tavria Defense Forces.
During the day, the Russians:
- carried out 56 air strikes;
- conducted 64 combat engagements;
- made 919 artillery attacks.
Avdiivka direction
The Ukrainian Armed Forces repelled 27 attacks in the areas of Novobakhmutivka, and Avdiivka and another 13 attacks near Nevelske and Pervomaiske in the Donetsk region.
Maryinka direction
Ukrainian troops continue to hold back the enemy near Krasnohorivka, Heorhiivka, Pobeda, and Novomykhailivka in the Donetsk region, where they repelled 22 attacks.
Shakhtarsk direction
The enemy did not conduct any offensive actions.
Zaporizhzhia direction
The Ukrainian Armed Forces repelled two Russian attacks west of Verbove and Robotyne in the Zaporizhzhia region.
Achievements of Ukrainian soldiers
Enemy losses in manpower amounted to 409 Russian invaders. Ukrainian soldiers destroyed 34 pieces of Russian equipment, including:
- 7 tanks;
- 11 armored personnel carriers;
- 4 artillery systems;
- 1 helicopter;
- 6 vehicles;
- 5 units of special equipment.
"The Ukrainian defense forces also destroyed one ammunition depot and another important enemy object. 178 UAVs of various types were neutralized or destroyed," the press service adds.
Russia's losses in war against Ukraine
According to the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, over the past day, February 7, Ukrainian soldiers eliminated another 910 Russian occupants. Since the beginning of the full-scale invasion of Ukraine, Russia has lost 392,380 soldiers.
