Russia's losses in Ukraine as of February 8: 910 troops and helicopter
Russia's losses in the war against Ukraine as of Thursday morning, February 8, amounted to 910 occupants, bringing the total number of Russian army losses since the beginning of the full-scale invasion to 392,380. In addition, the Armed Forces of Ukraine destroyed a helicopter, 31 missiles, 14 drones, and 20 armored personnel carriers, according to the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
The total combat losses of the enemy from 24.02.22 to 08.02.24 are estimated to be:
- personnel - about 392380 (+910) people were killed;
- tanks - 6383 (+11) units;
- armored personnel carriers - 11899 (+20) units;
- artillery systems - 9411 (+24) units;
- MLRS - 980 units;
- air defense systems - 666 (+1) units;
- aircraft - 332 units;
- helicopters - 325 (+1) units;
- UAVs of operational and tactical level - 7191 (+14) units;
- cruise missiles - 1880 (+31) units;
- ships/boats - 24 units;
- submarines - 1 unit;
- motor vehicles and tank trucks - 12513 (+27) units;
- special equipment - 1505 (+8) units.
Frontline situation
In Ukraine, 92 combat engagements took place in the frontline over the last day. Russians are actively storming Avdiivka and trying to capture some other settlements in the Donetsk region.
According to the Institute of War Studies, positional combat actions at the front continue along the Kupiansk-Svatovo-Kremenna line, near Bakhmut, in the west of Zaporizhzhia region, near Novomykhailivka in the Donetsk region and Krynky in Kherson region. Russian invaders are trying to advance near Avdiivka.
