Ukrainian Armed Forces confirmes Russian strike on the 128th Brigade in Zaporizhzhia region
In the Armed Forces of Ukraine, they have confirmed the strike on the personnel of the 128th Separate Mountain Assault Brigade, resulting in the death of servicemen, according to the statement on Facebook.
"On November 3, the enemy launched sneak attacks on 26 settlements in the Zaporizhzhia, Pologivsky, and Vasilivsky districts on the Zaporizhzhia front. In particular, they struck with an Iskander-M missile, targeting the personnel of the 128th Separate Mountain Assault Brigade, resulting in the deaths of servicemen and various degrees of injuries to local residents," as stated in the report.
It is reported that the circumstances are currently being clarified. The Armed Forces of Ukraine express their condolences to every family whose loved ones were taken by Russian aggression.
The Minister of Defense announced an investigation into the incident
Ukraine's Minister of Defense Rustem Umierov stated that an investigation into the incident will be conducted.
"I extend my condolences to the families of the fallen soldiers from the 128th Separate Mountain Assault Zakarpattia Brigade. All circumstances of the event will be clarified. I have instructed the Main Inspection of the Ministry of Defense to conduct a full investigation into this tragedy," the Minister of Defense said.
He also promised to make every effort to protect our people and provide all honest answers to the families and loved ones of the fallen soldiers.

Earlier, it was reported that Russia struck Ukrainian military during a ceremony, resulting in many casualties.
According to sources, the incident occurred in one of the front-line villages in the Zaporizhzhia region. The military had gathered for an award ceremony on the occasion of Artillery Day. At that moment, the location of the ceremony was targeted.
Yesterday there were reports of a missile strike on the village of Zarychne in the Zaporizhzhia region. At that time, 11 people were injured in the attack.
