Ukrainian Armed Forces advance in Kursk region, take control of two more settlements - Zelenskyy
The Ukrainian Armed Forces have advanced in the Kursk region. Moreover, Ukrainian defenders took control of two more settlements, states Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy.
Today, Zelenskyy listened to a report from the Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, Oleksandr Syrskyi.
“Our troops have advanced from 1 to 3 kilometers in the Kursk region. We have taken control of 2 more settlements. Active actions are underway in one more settlement,” the President said.
At the same time, the head of state noted that the Ukrainian military had replenished the exchange fund.
Fighting in the Kursk region
Fighting has been going on in the Kursk region for several weeks now.
While Ukraine is organizing humanitarian corridors for Russians in the territories controlled by Ukraine, the Russian military is striking with tanks, cannon artillery, and mortars, as well as dropping bombs on its settlements in the Kursk region.
At the same time, Zelenskyy noted today that the operation of the Armed Forces of Ukraine in the Kursk region is part of a large military and diplomatic operation.
