Ukrainian air defenses down almost all drones, but several strikes confirmed — Air Force

On the night of June 20, Russia attacked Ukraine with 99 strike drones. Air defense forces managed to shoot down almost all enemy unmanned aerial vehicles, although several impacts were recorded, according to the Air Force of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
The Russians attacked with 99 strike unmanned aerial vehicles of the Shahed type (including jet-powered variants), Gerbera, Italmas, and Parody decoy drones, launched from the directions of Oryol, Bryansk, and Primorsko-Akhtarsk in Russia.
The air attack was repelled by aviation, anti-aircraft missile units, electronic warfare and unmanned systems units, as well as mobile fire groups of Ukraine’s Defense Forces.
According to preliminary data as of 8:00 a.m., air defense forces shot down or suppressed 92 enemy unmanned aerial vehicles of the Shahed, Gerbera, Italmas and other types across the north, south, and east of the country.
Seven strike drones hit three locations, while debris from downed drones fell in three additional locations.
"The attack is ongoing, several enemy drones are still in the airspace. Follow safety rules!" the Air Force warned.
Attacks on Ukraine
Recall that on the night of Saturday, June 20, Russian forces carried out an airstrike on Kharkiv using guided aerial bombs. A strike was recorded in a residential area, where a multi-story apartment building sustained significant damage.
Also, on the evening of June 19, a Russian drone attacked a civilian vehicle in Kharkiv, killing one person and injuring another.
On the night of June 19, Russia attacked Ukraine with 90 strike drones. Air defense forces managed to shoot down most of the targets.
At the same time, nine strike drones hit eight locations, while debris from downed drones fell in eight additional locations.
