Ukraine will strike deeper into Russia if Kremlin keeps war going - Presidential Office

Kyrylo Budanov said Ukraine will step up strikes on Russian territory if the Kremlin does not stop the war, according to Latvia’s public broadcaster LSM.
Strikes will reach deeper into Russia
Kyrylo Budanov, head of the Office of the President of Ukraine, gave an interview to LTV journalist Gints Amolins during the Riga Conference. One of the topics discussed was Ukraine’s strikes on Russian territory and the possibility of expanding them further.
The journalist referred to a recent Ukrainian long-range drone strike that traveled about 3,000 km to hit a target in the Russian Arctic and asked whether further expansion of the geographic range of such attacks should be expected.
Budanov said the intensity of the strikes will increase if Russia continues military operations against Ukraine.
Russia will feel it more strongly
According to the head of the Office of the President, Ukrainian strikes will reach deeper into Russia and become more powerful. He stressed that further developments will depend directly on Russia’s actions and its willingness to continue the war.
“If Russia does not stop military operations against us, it is clear that it will feel this even more and more strongly on its own skin. Our strikes will reach deeper and have greater combat power,” Budanov said.
Thus, the head of the Office of the President made clear that Ukraine intends to expand its long-range strike capabilities against Russian territory in response to Russia’s continued military operations.
It was previously reported that a Russian court once again ordered the arrest of Ukrainian Presidential Office head Kyrylo Budanov, accusing him of allegedly using prohibited methods of warfare. Budanov himself said such decisions were meaningless to him, calling them recognition of the effectiveness of his work and noting that the latest arrest was already his “third anniversary” arrest.
