Ukraine warns foreign troops of consequences for joining Moscow parade

The Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine has stated that sending military personnel to participate in the May 9 Moscow parade by neutral countries will be regarded as a violation of their neutrality.
According to the Foreign Ministry of Ukraine, today a brutal war is being waged against the Ukrainian people, who are among the nations that defeated Nazism, during which Russian soldiers have committed hundreds of thousands of war crimes.
"It is this army that will march on Red Square in Moscow on May 9. These people are not liberators of Europe, they are occupiers and war criminals. To march side by side with them is to share responsibility for the blood of murdered Ukrainian children, civilian and military, not to honor the victory over Nazism. Russia invites foreign military personnel to participate in the May 9 parade to whitewash its war crimes and justify its aggression," the Ukrainian Foreign Ministry adds.
The ministry notes that the participation of foreign military personnel in the May 9 parade in Moscow is unacceptable and will be regarded as an outrage against the memory of the victory over Nazism.
Ukraine's Foreign Ministry also adds that sending military personnel to participate in the parade by neutral countries will be seen as a violation of their declared neutrality and will look like support for a war criminal country.
"We call on all foreign states and international organizations to honor the victims of World War II and the collective victory over Nazism with dignity, which does not justify Russian aggression and atrocities against Ukrainians," Ukraine's Foreign Ministry said.
