President Volodymyr Zelenskyy is convinced that negotiations to end the war in Ukraine will take place. In his opinion, the negotiations should involve the USA, Ukraine, and European countries.

In an interview with Fox News, he stated, "Ukraine wants peace, and we will have negotiations anyway."

"I only said that it is about a just and lasting peace and that we have to be very strong at the negotiating table. Ukraine, Russia, the USA, and Europe must be at the negotiating table," Zelenskyy said.

Zelenskyy's visit to the US and tense talks with Trump

On Friday, February 28, President Volodymyr Zelenskyy held talks with his counterpart Donald Trump at the White House.

During a dialogue, a dispute occurred between the leaders regarding the signing of a peace agreement and the end of the war.

After the conflict, Zelenskyy left the White House early, and the prepared and agreed deal on rare earth metals was not signed.

The US State Department stopped funding the program for restoring Ukraine's energy system, amounting to hundreds of millions of dollars.

According to media reports, given the situation, the US may stop providing military aid to Ukraine.
