On Infantry Day, an exhibition of cutting-edge Ukrainian weaponry is taking place in Kyiv. It showcases long-range drones, among other items, RBC-Ukraine's correspondent reports.

At the exhibition, the Ukrainian Bulava drone, developed by the Ukrainian-Czech company UAC, was displayed. This drone is equipped with a powerful cumulative-thermobaric warhead weighing 3.6 kg. It can strike targets within a radius of up to 60 kilometers.

The exhibition also featured the Ukrainian ground drone TerMIT. This drone has a payload capacity of up to 300 kg and a range of up to 20 kilometers. It can reach speeds of up to 10 km/h. Ukrainian soldiers are already actively using it on the front lines, equipping it with large-caliber machine guns.

Visitors to the exhibition were also shown the strike drone FP-1, which has repeatedly caused panic in Russian media. Its exact specifications are not publicly available.

The exhibition also featured a model of the Ukrainian self-propelled artillery system Bohdana, which is capable of destroying targets at a distance of up to 42 kilometers.

Weapon production in Ukraine

Recently, Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy instructed to speed up the production of Ukraine's ballistic missiles. This order was given during a meeting of the Staff of the Supreme Commander-in-Chief.

As the President emphasized, these missiles will become an effective guarantee of security for Ukraine.

Overall, in 2024, Ukraine produced weapons worth a total of 9 billion dollars. The production of missiles has significantly increased.
