Ukraine under attack by Russian Shahed drones: Air alerts and strike zones revealed

Russian forces have launched Shahed kamikaze drones toward Ukraine. Air raid alerts have been declared in several regions, and explosions are being heard, according to the Air Force of the Armed Forces of Ukraine and the Air Raid Alert Map of Ukraine.
The first strike UAVs began entering Ukrainian airspace around midnight on May 22 via the Sumy region.
At 12:29 a.m. Kyiv time, the military reported drone activity.
- past Zinkiv/Shyshaky heading toward Poltava;
- from the south, en route to Marhanets;
- in Kharkiv region.
At 01:00, Russian drones were moving:
- along the border of Kharkiv and Poltava regions, past Chutove toward Dnipropetrovsk region;
- in Poltava region, past Novi Sanzhary;
- in Kharkiv region, through Balakliia heading toward Barvinkove;
- in Dnipropetrovsk region, en route to Pavlohrad;
- in Donetsk region, en route to Kramatorsk.
At 01:19, monitoring channels reported the movement of 10-12 strike drones heading toward Pavlohrad and the Pavlohrad district.
Airstrikes by Russia
Russian forces continue shelling frontline and rear Ukrainian settlements.
On the night of Wednesday, May 21, Russian forces launched over 70 Shahed attack drones from multiple directions. The main strike targeted the Kharkiv and Sumy regions.
In Sumy, as a result of the drone attack, some areas experienced partial power outages and fires broke out.
During the day on May 21, the Russians struck a Ukrposhta vehicle with a drone in the Zaporizhzhia region. Two employees of the company were injured.
Additionally, Russian forces attacked the village of Bilozerka in the Kherson region with a drone. Residents were affected.
