Russia strikes Ukraine's Kherson region: 5 people hospitalized

Russia attacks the Kherson region with drones. 5 women were injured and are in the hospital, Kherson Regional State Administration reports.
On the morning of May 21, the Russian army attacked the village of Bilozerka in the Kherson region with drones.
At least 5 residents were injured in the strike, all women aged 47 to 67.
Around 8 a.m. Kyiv time, one of the Russian drones hit a residential area. Initially, it was reported that a 62-year-old victim was taken to the hospital with an explosive injury.
Later, the Kherson Regional State Administration clarified the information - the woman also sustained a concussion, chest, and leg injuries.
The 67-year-old woman was diagnosed with blast concussion and a closed head injury. Another woman, a 61-year-old, has wounds to her chest, shoulder, and leg.
Another victim, a 54-year-old woman, sought outpatient medical care for blast trauma and contusion.
The youngest victim, a 47-year-old female resident, was diagnosed with shrapnel wounds to her arms and legs, blast trauma, and a closed head injury.
All the wounded are in hospitals where they are receiving the necessary medical care.
Russian strikes on Kherson
Earlier, a Russian drone dropped explosives on a car in Kherson.
Russian drones are constantly using explosives against civilians.
For example, on the morning of May 17, Russian troops attacked civilian employees of a utility company in Kherson using an attack drone.
Also, on May 19, the State Emergency Service informed that a Russian missile attack on a private residential building killed one person.
Last month, Russian invaders shelled the center of Kherson. One person was killed and another was injured as a result of the Russian strike.
