Russian strike destroys house in Kherson, civilian killed

According to Ukrainian rescuers, one person was killed following a missile strike on a private residential house.

Another victim, an elderly man, was found under the rubble by emergency workers and handed over to medics for assistance.

In particular, Ukrainian rescuers were quickly clearing the debris despite the risk of repeated shelling.

This is not the first strike on the city, as earlier, a Russian drone dropped explosives on a car in Kherson.

In recent weeks, this is not the first instance of enemy drones being used to target civilians with explosives.

For example, on the morning of May 17, Russian forces in Kherson attacked civilian employees of a municipal utility company using a strike drone.

And last month, Russian troops shelled the center of Kherson. In that attack, one person was killed and another was injured.
