Over the past day, Ukraine's Defense Forces carried out several successful operations aimed at weakening Russia's war machine, Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy said.
According to the president, Ukrainian troops always find new ways to retaliate against the enemy for attacks on peaceful Ukrainian cities and villages.
Zelenskyy stressed that this time, several important Russian targets were hit by long-range strikes by Ukraine's Defense Forces.
"Our sanctions reached the Samara region, as well as the positions of occupiers operating Iskander missile systems in the Bryansk region," Zelenskyy said.
He also added that the Armed Forces of Ukraine have achieved new successes in the Black Sea, but did not reveal what exactly they involved.
