On the night of March 19, Ukrainian forces struck a facility of the Almaz-Antey concern in Crimea, where Russian air defense systems are repaired. They also destroyed ammunition and fuel depots in the occupied territories, according to the General Staff and the Naval Forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.

Air defense repair base hit

In the Fiolent Highway area of Sevastopol, the innovative center of the production and technical enterprise Granit was hit, a subdivision of the Almaz-Antey concern.

This is where S-400 Triumf and S-300PM2 Favorit surface-to-air missile systems, 92N6E and 96L6E radar stations, as well as Buk-M2/M3 and Tor-M2 complexes, are repaired and serviced.

These are the systems forming the air defense shield of occupied Crimea.

Moreover, in the Striletska Bay area, positions of Russian personnel were attacked. Losses are being clarified.

Ammunition and fuel depots also struck

According to the General Staff, on the same night, the defense forces struck:

  • Ammunition depots in Donetsk, Yalta (temporarily occupied territory of the Donetsk region), and Kalanchak (temporarily occupied territory of the Kherson region).
  • A logistical supply depot near Vesele in the Donetsk region.
  • A fuel and lubricants depot near Novotroitske (temporarily occupied territory of the Kherson region).

Strikes also targeted enemy personnel concentrations near Yalta (temporarily occupied territory of the Donetsk region) and Ovrazhky (temporarily occupied territory of Crimea).

The scale of the damage and losses is being clarified.

On March 16 and 17, the defense forces struck a Tor-M2U air defense system in Russia’s Bryansk region, as well as a missile division with Bastion systems near Verkhniokurhanne in occupied Crimea.

A communications node near Mangush, fuel depots in Melitopol, ammunition depots in the Stepne and Terpinnia areas, a drone training center, and drone control points near Zaporizhzhia were hit.

According to ISW analysts, such attacks could complicate Russia’s preparations for a spring-summer offensive.

Most strikes are focused on Russian forces in eastern and southern Ukraine — precisely where the Russian army has concentrated its main offensive actions in recent weeks.
