Ukraine stops revealing how many missiles Russia launches during attacks

Ukraine's Air Force has changed the format of its daily reports and stopped disclosing data on the number of missiles Russia launches during air attacks, Bloomberg reports.
According to the outlet's sources, the change in the format of public reports is a necessary security measure in response to Russia's strike tactics.
In particular, during one of the latest overnight attacks, Ukraine's air defense forces reported destroying 98 of 120 enemy drones but did not provide information on the number of missiles launched.
This came shortly after the Ukrainian military stopped publishing data on ballistic missile interceptions. Earlier, during one of the attacks, Ukraine failed to shoot down any of the 28 ballistic missiles launched.
The change in the approach to reporting attacks comes amid dwindling stocks of air defense systems.
Ukraine is trying to obtain more interceptor missiles from its allies, as it has become increasingly difficult in recent weeks to defend against intensified Russian air attacks.
Earlier, it was reported that European countries are running out of interceptor missiles for Patriot systems. Ukraine has to fight for every missile needed to defend its skies.
The president of Ukraine criticized bureaucratic delays in issuing licenses for missile production, which he had requested at the beginning of the full-scale war.
US Patriot manufacturers are in no hurry to transfer missile production technologies to Ukraine, fearing competition from Kyiv.
Meanwhile, the UK defense secretary called on allies to strengthen Ukraine's air defenses before winter.
