Ukraine's Sumy paramedics targeted in brutal Russian follow-up strike

Russian forces struck civilians in the Stetskivka district of the Sumy region earlier today, then launched a second attack targeting a paramedic team, informs Oleh Hryhorov, head of the Sumy Regional Military Administration.
"After the strike on civilians, as medics were providing assistance and evacuating the victim, the enemy carried out a second attack — this time on the emergency medical team," the statement read.
Hryhorov said two paramedics are currently undergoing medical examinations at a hospital.
Background
Earlier in the day, one man was killed and another injured in a Russian drone strike on the Sumy community.
According to Hryhorov, the attack occurred around 3:40 p.m. on a road in the Stetskivka district. Two brothers were traveling on a motor-cultivator toward the Khotin community when a Russian drone hit them.
"A 57-year-old man was killed. His brother was wounded and is receiving medical treatment. My condolences to the family of the deceased," Hryhorov said.
He also urged residents of the Sumy region to limit travel near the border, warning that Russian forces are systematically targeting civilian vehicles in those areas.
