Ukraine's Sumy attacked by Russia: Two women injured, residential sector and infrastructure affected

Two women were injured in Sumy as a result of the attack. The strikes were recorded in a residential area, according to the Sumy Regional Military Administration.
This morning, explosions were heard in Sumy. Russian forces attacked the city’s industrial and residential infrastructure.
According to the Sumy Regional Military Administration, around 10:15 a.m. Kyiv time, strikes were recorded (the type of weapon is currently being determined) on civilian sector facilities. At least two locations were reported damaged.

As a result of the attack, two women aged 57 and 43 sustained shrapnel wounds. The victims were hospitalized and are receiving necessary medical care.
All emergency services are working at the scene. The full extent of the damage is being assessed.
Attack on Sumy
On the afternoon of May 20, the Russian army struck the city of Shostka in the Sumy region with a missile. The Regional Military Administration reported that the strike damaged the infrastructure of one enterprise, and an emergency rescue operation was launched in the city.
Additionally, on the night of May 20, the Russian army attacked the Bilopillia and Yunakivka communities in the Sumy region with drones and aerial bombs. The attack caused a large-scale fire at one of the civilian facilities.
