FIFA updated the ranking of women's national football teams

In the latest update published on July 7, the Ukrainian team moved up from 35th to 34th place.

The "blue and yellow" did not gain any new points but climbed the table due to losses by their competitors.

In particular, Serbia, which was one spot above Ukraine, dropped down after friendly matches against Russia and Iceland, losing 11.53 points.

Currently, the "blue and yellow" have 1,633.46 points. They are 23 points behind 33rd place, held by New Zealand.

The previous update took place in June 2025, when Ukraine lost one position despite a successful performance in the Nations League.

At that time, the team won their group with three wins and one draw, securing promotion to Division A for the next season.

Changes in the global top 10

There were notable shifts in the top ten of the rankings. Spain took the lead, moving up one spot thanks to a strong performance at the Women’s Euro.

The United States now holds second place, while Sweden rose to third, gaining three points after reaching the quarterfinals, where they lost to England in a penalty shootout.

Among the biggest changes in the top 10 are Brazil’s drop by three places due to a loss of 28.01 points, and France’s breakthrough, climbing four positions to sixth place.
