Ukraine’s Defense Forces are working to disrupt Russian logistics. Unmanned Systems Forces (USF) are actively operating, in particular, in the temporarily occupied Crimea, according to National Guard Commander Major General Oleksandr Pivnenko.

He speaks about the National Guard’s expansion of drone surveillance of the skies over Donetsk and Mariupol.

"We will increase the number of our pilots to cover the operational depth and destroy Russia’s logistics on a much larger scale. The more resources we have, the better we will perform," states the commander of the National Guard of Ukraine.

Operations in Crimea

Responding to a question about Russian logistics in Crimea, Pivnenko states that the Unmanned Systems Forces, led by Commander Robert Brovdi, call-sign Magyar, are handling this front.

"The Unmanned Systems Forces, led by Magyar, are operating in Crimea. They know exactly what they’re doing. All I can say is: keep up the pressure as much as possible," he says.

He also emphasizes that the Ukrainian military intends to make it more difficult for the Russian forces to resupply.

"We will cut off Russia’s logistics in such a way that it will be very difficult for them," Pivnenko notes.

Russians target civilians

The National Guard commander notes that the Russians are also severing Ukrainian logistics chains 20–30 km inland.

"We understand this, and that’s our starting point. Since they cannot mount a significant challenge on the front lines, they are targeting civilians and the energy sector," he states.

Strikes on Crimea

Recently, the Ukrainian Armed Forces carried out strikes on many key targets near the Crimean Bridge and in occupied Crimea.

The strikes targeted Russian military logistics, oil industry, and air defense facilities at a distance of about 300 km from the front line.

Facilities on both sides of the Crimean Bridge were hit, including maritime logistics facilities for oil transportation in the Krasnodar region.

Also, a few days ago, drones struck a critical oil terminal in Kerch.
